Research promoted by Fundacion de Occidente helps rebuild the remote history of human being’s evolution and his intellectual and cultural development. In particular, we pursue shedding light on the following enigmas:
Solving this multifaceted and complex puzzle requires indirect approaches. Thus Fundacion de Occidente supports the line undertaken since 1994 by the philologist and prehistorian Jorge Maria Ribero-Meneses, based on the study of languages and their fossil record (toponymy), iconography and ancient historic sources about the past of our civilizations. Together they serve as a guide and support to more established archeologic and anthropology disciplines.
This is why we promote a due collaboration between institutions and between scientific areas, vital in the study of the remote origin of our species.
